Term three has been extremely busy with all students involved in performing and visual arts activities. We began with trips to the art gallery at Te Manawa, which provided inspiration for our visual arts units. Arts Advisor Rei Hendry visited and took art sessions. Anna Davies, Art Specialist from School Supplies, worked with students and teachers from the Pohangina team. All teams learnt a funky dance with Dean McKerras, which they performed at a concert for their parents and families. Finally, the last week of term saw the school hall full to the brim with the most amazing and colourful artworks. We hope you enjoy viewing our photos.
